| My Family was one of the oldest to settle the Fannin County area. We have two mountains, creeks and businesses carrying my family name.
Everyone needs good news and the Blue Ridge area is booming despite the economy, perhaps because Atlantans have decided that an easy trip up I-575 is a great way to get away without breaking the budget. The area has long been known for its fishing, golf, horseback riding and the train ride through the mountains New shops are continuing to open and you can find the best tomato soup at Serenity Cafe or designer jewelry and clothing at Humanity. WE have several new restaraunts , one of my favorites is Harvest on Main, Blue Ridge Brewery has opened up and is doing great. I enjoy Nancy Chancey singing and the atmosphere at Christy Lee's on thursday evenings... WE have everything from fishing guides, Real estate companies, to antique stores and some of the finest shopping & dining around..with every visit you will find the desire that so many have to enjoy the lifestyle that our Mountain Towns have to offer you..
